LONGUST DISTRIBUTING, INC.

1974 Negotiated the sale of the appliance distribution businesses of Black & Ryan Distributing (Whirlpool / RCA / Borg-Warner / Litton / Appliance Services/Armstrong ) to Arizona Wholesale Supply, Borg-.Warner Corporation and Time Appliance Service Company

1974 After completing the above sales, purchased 50% of Black & Ryan Distributing from Arizona Wholesale Supply, consisting of the remaining floor covering distribution business servicing Arizona and occupying a 30,000 S/F facility. Primarily distributed Armstrong resilient and carpet products.

1975 Purchased the balance of Black & Ryan Distributing from Arizona Wholesale Supply and changed the company name to Longust Distributing, Inc.

1981 Expanded by entering the Hardwood flooring distribution business.

1982 Relocated the Arizona branch from Phoenix to a 60,000 S/F facility in Tempe

1988 Expanded by opening a Las Vegas branch to service the Clark County Nevada geography.

1990 Expanded by opening an Albuquerque branch to service the New Mexico & El Paso, Texas geography

1992 Expanded by entering the Ceramic Tile distribution business.

1993 Added distribution of the Kahrs hardwood flooring line.

1995 Expanded by opening a Denver branch to service the Colorado geography.

1997 Sold the Denver branch to facilitate disengagement with Armstrong upon completion of the existing contract in mid-1974.

1997 Disengaged with Armstrong and contracted to distribute Mannington resilient and hardwood flooring products along with the existing Shawmark carpet, Flexco rubber, Kahrs hardwood flooring, and assorted Ceramic Tile lines.

2001 Expanded the Albuquerque branch business by adding the West Texas geography. (Amarillo to Midland-Odessa)

2001 Entered into an exclusive supply contract with Longust Flooring LLC, a newly established marketing company servicing regional tile distributors throughout California and the western USA. Established a 20,000 S/F Anaheim warehouse to support the Longust Flooring LLC supply contract.

2002 Relocated the Arizona branch to a new 90,000 S/F facility in Mesa.

2002 Added distribution of the Crossville Porcelain Tile product line.

2002 Added distribution of the Casa Dolce Casa porcelain tile line. Entered into an agreement to function as the Casa Dolce Casa Master Distributor for the Western USA

2002 Expanded the exclusive supply contract with Longust Flooring LLC to include Crossville and Casa Dolce Casa products for Southern California. (San Luis Obispo to the Mexican border).

2002 Moved to a 50,000 S/F Anaheim warehouse, opened a 12,000 S/F San Diego warehouse and established a Southern California delivery service to support the addition of Crossville and Casa Dolce products for Southern California through the Longust Flooring LLC business.

2004 Added distribution of the Berry Laminate product line.

2005 Exited the carpet and turf distribution business.

2005 Leased a 50,000 square foot warehouse facility in Phoenix to allow relocation of the Sample Department from the Mesa Distribution Center and to provide additional bulk storage capacity for ceramic tile containers.

2005 Effective June 1st the company redeemed the balance of Tom Longust's stock, completing the planned transfer of ownership to the management team led by Steve Wallace as majority owner, and John Laird, Drew Mittelstaedt, and Bo Bobertz as minority owners.

2006 Introduction of Hallmark Hardwood line.

2008 Introduction of the Teragren Bamboo line.

2009 Introduction of Torly Leather and Cork line.

 

LONGUST FLOORING LLC

2001 Established Longust Flooring LLC, a marketing services company. Merged the Voss International Marketing Agency business into the Longust Flooring LLC business.

Entered into an exclusive contract to market ceramic tile lines supplied solely by Longust Distributing Inc to regional distributors throughout the state of California and other western states not serviced directly by Longust Distributing, Inc. Continued performing as sales agents for ceramic tile manufacturers under existing agency contracts for the western USA geography. Subleased office space in the 20,000 S/F Longust Distributing, Inc. Anaheim warehouse facility.

2002 Expanded the marketing services contract with Longust Distributing, Inc. to include Casa Dolce Casa porcelain tile products and Crossville porcelain tile products for Southern California. Further expanded the marketing services contract to provide a dedicated field sales team to service flooring dealers, contractors and new home builders: and a dedicated specification team to service architects, specifiers and designers in Southern California (San Luis Obispo to the Mexican border) for ceramic tile lines and hardwood flooring lines offered under the exclusive supply contract with Longust Distributing, Inc.

2002 Relocated to subleased office space in the new 50,000 S/F Longust Distributing, Inc Anaheim warehouse facility.

2004 Completed construction of a "state of the art" product showroom with an area dedicated to Crossville and an area dedicated to Casa Dolce Casa for use by flooring dealers, contractors, home builders, architects, specifiers, designers, end users and other regional distribution partners to promote the use of Crossville and Casa Dolce Casa products.

2004 Expanded the Anaheim warehouse facility to 105,000 square feet to support the continued sales growth in Southern California and the launch of Berry Laminate.

2006 Introduction of Hallmark Hardwood line.

2007 Expanded by opening a 25,000 sf warehouse in Tracy , California to service the Northern California region.

2008 Introduction of the Teragren Bamboo Line.

2009 Introduction of Torly Leather and Cork line and Portobello Pool Tile.
